Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an NDT Level II Quality Test Specialists to support our business in San Antonio, TX.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes routine data

  • Assists with standard corrective action recommendations

  • Documents and communicate standard test, analysis or measurement results to customers through entries in quality records and/or test reports

  • Performs setup of routine test or measurement equipment

  • Performs routine tests

  • Assists in the documentation of procedures and technique sheets for setting up test equipment

  • Performs setup of test or measurement equipment to controlled standards

  • Assists in the documentation of procedures for test equipment setup

  • May be required to travel up to 10% of the time

This position requires you to achieve and maintain certifications as a condition of continued employment

Basic Qualifications: (Required Skills/Experience)

  • NDI Level 2 certification in Penetrant (PT) and Magnetic Particle (MT) to NAS-410 or equivalent standard

  • Experience in managing shelf-life guidelines and regulatory compliance

  • 1 + years’ experience performing NDT/NDI inspections including equipment set, flaw detection and interpretation of inspection results

  • Experience in Magnetic Particle, Penetrant, and Radiography

  • Willing and able to work variable shifts

Preferred Qualifications: (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience working with regulatory agencies (DCMA, FAA, and/or Military)

  • Certified in Eddy Current, Ultrasonic, and Radiography

  • Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications

  • Demonstrated accuracy and critical thinking in reviewing information and resolving issues

  • Proven commitment to confidentiality and high ethical standards while delivering quality work

  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to convey information clearly in both written and verbal formats

  • Ability to manage tasks independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment
