Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Associate Site Supplier Quality Engineer to join our Supplier Quality Team located in Saint Charles, MO!

This position will be supporting production for Boeing Precision Engagement team and  require a strong background in collecting data from multiple sources, including Excel, Tableau and internal databases, synthesizing findings and creating presentations for leadership. Experience in root cause analysis and engineering foundational concepts is strongly recommended.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Researches contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements for applicability to specific proposals and program processes and documentation.

  • Develops sections of quality metrics, design and production certification plans to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements. Analyzes capability assessments to support supplier selection activities.

  • Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs.

  • Performs data analysis to ensure manufacturing and test readiness.

  • Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances.

  • Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.

  • Compiles performance reports and other statistical data to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved.

  • Works under general supervision

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry

  • More than 1 year of experience performing quantitative or statistical analysis, data collection, preparation and interpretation

  • More than 1 year of experience root cause analysis

  • Experience working in Quality

  • Experience in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience working with Supplier Quality Processes

  • Experience with AS9100 and/or similar QMS standard

  • Experience with SQIS, QDSS and other Boeing process

  • Experience interfacing and presenting to data findings to leadership

  • Experience working closely with other engineering disciplines in an integrated team environment
