Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Supply Chain Lean Manager (Level K) to join our Supplier Management team in Everett, Washington.

The Supply Chain Functional Excellence Continuous Improvement Manager will lead improvement strategies, tactical lean engagements, and resource deployment across our internal supply chain professionals and global supply chain. Maintain business operations running efficiently by supporting both internal supply chain level initiatives and implementing high leverage supply chain focused projects. The ideal candidate will ensure all items and services are accurately acquired, so that projects and processes can proceed efficiently and optimally to drive the overall success of the company. This individual will lead the development and deployment of continuous improvement proficiency and culture across supply chain. This role requires blending strategic thinking with on-the-ground execution, enabling the organizations to improve systems, business policies, and processes.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees performing activities related to supplier improvement plans, business relationships, in-service requirements and performance to contractual obligations and expectations

  • Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

  • Monitors supplier quality, delivery and financial performance

  • Provides oversight, guidance and approval of supply base plans to ensure integration with supplier, customer, program and commodity strategies

  • Manages, develops and motivates employees

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience working in cross-functional teams

  • 5+ years of experience communicating to employees, customers, peers and multiple levels of leadership

  • 5+ years of experience leading production system and/or process improvements

  • Must be willing and able to travel domestically and internationally as needed

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience supporting Supplier Management and/or Category Management roles

  • 5+ years of experience applying and/or teaching Lean principles, processes, and tools
