Boeing Canada Winnipeg is seeking Employee Development Specialist, reporting to the Production System Training Manager, working out of the Winnipeg office. The Employee Development Specialist will join a production system training team to develop and administer training program.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Work with stakeholders to conduct learning requirements analyses and establish learning objectives.

  • Design and develop course content and instructional materials such as Structured-On-the-Job-Training (SOJT), training videos, presentations, etc. to address existing & new process issues.

  • Develop & implement knowledge checks to ensure sufficient knowledge transfer to the learner, using results & feedback to improve training programs.

  • Test delivery environments and establish system access requirements.

  • Deliver content and assess effectiveness based on learning objectives using adult learning principles.

  • Conduct customer workplace coaching sessions to improve individual or group performance.

  • Deploys development tools and monitors implementation and performance outcomes.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the Winnipeg location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in composite assembly processes (e.g., drilling, countersinking, sealing, fastening and bonding, Electrical Bond & Ground)

  • 1+ years of experience training teams and/or groups

  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, etc)

  • Must be legally able to work in Canada

  • Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods

  • Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data

Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):

  • Experience working in aerospace or manufacturing environment

  • Knowledge of Technical writing or process documentation

  • Experience in adult education and/or employee development

Additional Information:

This requisition is for a locally hired position in Canada. The employer is Boeing Canada.  Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada. Benefits and pay are determined by Canada and are not on Boeing US-based payroll. This is not an expatriate assignment.
