The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Design & Analysis Engineer to become part of Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT & E) Aeronautical Systems Integration and Test (ASIT) team in Berkeley, MO or Hazelwood, MO.

You will enable the BT & E organization to continue to advance its technologies in support of our Phantom Works and Fixed-Wing programs. The team is responsible for developing integration test assets, real-time software test environments, subsystem/system testing, and evaluating system performance in simulation lab environment. Simulation and modeling are utilized to assist in requirements development, software and hardware development, and equipment verification and validation.

BT & E is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including an Associate or Experienced level Electrical Design and Analysis Engineer.

Position Responsibilities Include:

• Develop electrical schematics and designs for cabling, test hardware, and/or test stations

• Select components for hardware designs and support the procurement and fabrication of hardware designs

• Integrate hardware systems and/or software together in a test setting

• Operate complex test stations, electronic test equipment, and test software

• Test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements

• Solve problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

• 1+ years of experience testing and troubleshooting electronics and electrical systems

• Experience interpreting technical requirements to create designs and/or documents

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Level 3: 3 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• 1+ years of experience conducting component, sub-system, system or system-of-systems tests

• 1+ years analyzing engineering designs to define testing requirements

• Experience preparing test plans, schedules and documentation

• Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, and/or real-time operating systems

• Experience with software programming and creating scripts for automated testing

• Experience with Flight Controls or Vehicle Management Systems
