Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Fabrication Specialist - Mechanical Assembly – 4th Shift to support the Assembly Team based in West Jordan, Utah.

Shift preference is granted to teammates based on their seniority. It is important to note that these positions may require a 2nd shift schedule based on the businesss needs.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Performs metals assembly tasks, including drilling, fastening, sealing, and electrical bonding
  • Assembles mechanical and electro-mechanical components
  • Performs basic organic chemical conversion and paint preparation
  • Applies routine organic coatings for corrosion protection and appearance requirements
  • Works on articles of limited complexity following established drawings and requirements

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Willingness to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed
  • Able to perform physical activities such as climbing, bending, kneeling, and lifting
  • Able to lift/carry up to 35 lbs

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with Lean Principles (Continuous Improvement, Standard Work, and 5-S tools)
  • Experience managing or working with safety, quality, and manufacturing performance data

Summary pay range:

Level A $41,650 - $56,350

Level B $49,300 - $66,700
