Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT & E) is looking for Test & Evaluation Engineers to join our test operations team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This role will primarily focus on working MS & B portfolio.

This role is primarily first shift; however, there may be additional shift requirements to support program objectives.  In addition, this role will require occasional travel (up to 20%).

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Associate and Mid-Level Test and Evaluation Engineers.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Evaluates results against customer and design specification

  • Supports testing to verify system behavior and integration into platform

  • Test planning, execution, and analysis of flight, ground, and laboratory tests

  • Builds customer trust by being available for technical consultation and troubleshooting assistance when requested by the customer

  • Works with the customer and management at test coordination and/or technical interface meetings to provide findings and recommendations

  • Participates on test and analysis teams; provides guidance and recommendations to test conductors, engineers, technicians, maintainers, customers, and management to ensure program and test objectives are achieved

  • Applies general knowledge of aircraft systems (e.g., avionics, hydraulic, electrical, egress systems), components (e.g., multifunction displays wing, engine, landing gear transmission), and loadable/non-loadable software (e.g., radar operational programs, inertial navigation programs, operational flight programs)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

  • Current FAA Class III medical certificate or the ability to obtain one

  • 1+ years of experience in aircraft testing

  • Ability to travel 10-20% of the time

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Level 3: 3 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience 

  • 1+ years of engineering experience in both integration lab and ground/flight test environments

  • Active U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship

  • Certification experience in FAA and/or EASA transport category aircraft programs

  • 1+ years of experience in complex test planning, development, and execution

  • Previous experience in the aerospace industry
