The Boeing Company is looking for a Technology Asset Management Project Lead to join the team in North Charleston, SC; Seattle, WA; Everett, WA; Auburn, WA; Hazelwood, MO; Berkeley, MO; Ridley Park, PA; Plano, TX, Dallas, TX; Mesa, AZ, Seal Beach, CA; Miami, FL; Englewood, CO; or Arlington, VA.

We are seeking an experienced specialist to join the Technology Governance and Optimization (TG & O) organization. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading complex projects focused on optimizing Technology Asset Management (TAM) lifecycle processes and cybersecurity metrics, developing timelines and budgets, and driving stakeholder alignment from inception through delivery.

This position blends tactical project execution with executive-level communication, building detailed plans, coordinating cross-functional teams, driving risk mitigation, and presenting program status and recommendations to leadership. This role requires strong project leadership, asset-management domain expertise, organizational change management, critical stakeholder engagement, and knowledge of Information Technology (IT) environments.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Define project objectives, success criteria, scope, schedules, resource plans, and budgets; maintain detailed project plans and provide regular status reporting to stakeholders and governance bodies

  • Develop and execute comprehensive team to executive-level communication plans to provide timely updates on project status, performance metrics, issues, and corrective actions

  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with stakeholders, peers, and external partners to foster collaboration and drive project success

  • Identify, evaluate, and mitigate project and asset-related risks, including cybersecurity and regulatory/compliance exposure

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, Procurement, Security, Legal and other groups as necessary to gain clarification of ongoing activities and report technology asset management and cybersecurity updates effectively

  • Coordinate commitments and communications with internal and external stakeholders to fulfill strategic initiatives

  • Educate and coach teams on Project Management best practices (Agile and Waterfall), secure stakeholder buy-in, and drive adoption of scalable delivery practices (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban)

  • Develop and implement asset management policies and procedures

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • 10+ years of experience leading a large project or program which required the use of project management tools and processes

  • 5+ years of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams

  • Experience with IT asset management and configuration management databases (CMDB)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) and/or Scaled Agile Frameworks (SAFe)

  • Ability to approach projects in a proactive manner and to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic IT environment with frequent change and transformation initiatives

  • Experience with cross-functional communication, problem solving, and analytical thinking

Summary pay range: $140,250 - $203,550
