Aviation Projects Operations ManagerJob Category:Project and Program ManagementMinimum Clearance Required to Start:SecretEmployee Type:RegularPercentage of Travel Required:Up to 10%Type of Travel:Continental US LocalJob Description:CACI is seeking a cleared Aviation Project Operations Manager who will manage operations and project cost schedule and performance related to manufacturing and/or refurbishment of products in support of Aviation programs. The position provides technical leadership and direct supervision of personnel managing costs and schedules while maintaining a safe and environmentally compliant work environment. The position will ensure work is performed to customer satisfaction within budgeted time and within the guidelines of all applicable regulations. The manager will coordinate with customer stakeholders regarding technical and engineering requirements and dispositions Government Furnished Equipment and Government Furnished Information as well as other CACI departments to ensure maximum utilization of supporting resources.What Youll Get to Do:Support and be responsible to the Deputy Programs Director as the operations manager for project execution and facility operation within your area of control and as assigned.Oversee project operations by developing procedures planning and directing execution of the technical quality maintenance cost schedule and performance including project monitoring and reporting progress and requirements.Manage acquisition and employment of project resources including related equipment.More About the Role:This can be worked at Lexington Park MD or Norfolk VA or Andrews AFB. Youll Bring These Qualifications:An active DoD Secret clearance.Ability to plan and organize workload for assigned personnel and facilities.At least 10 years of total aircraft structures propulsion and/or hydraulics experience including 5 years managing subordinates.Excellent working knowledge of aircraft and/or support equipment maintenance to include mechanical structural and/or avionics systems and corrosion-control prevention and treatment methods and procedures.Working knowledge of process design improvement methodology and application.
