CHC has an opportunity for a Flight Operations Assistant working in a Dynamic and challenging environment. This role will be based in Ireland.
Primary Accountability. Reporting to the Manager Flight Operations, this role is responsible for managing and monitoring the rosters for CHCI. The role involves planning and analyzing the rosters for pilots and winch crew, supporting training schedules/admin management. In addition the role will provide admin support to the CHCI Base Manager.
+ Report directly to the MFO and Base Managers to ensure all rosters are captured correctly and published in a timely manner on ISAR
+ Respond to inquries adn resolve problems concerning Work Place compliance
+ Respond to inquiries and resolve problems concerning roster compliance
+ Ensure the scheduling information system is current and accurate at all times on ISAR
+ Prepare reports and assist with long term and short term scheduling requirements
+ Monitor schedules to optimize the use of all resources and manage absence occurrences to maintain bases online
+ Communicate scheduling assignments to crew members to ensure that any questions or concerns are handled in a timely manner
+ Manage travel requirements for crew in a cost efficient manner
+ Be fully conversant with the FRMS and associated Work Practices currently in use
+ Collect and analyse data from all rosters to ensure alignment to the rosters and compliance to FRMS
+ Work directly with Operations Centre in Dallas to offer advice on scheduling requirements of Flight
+ Attend support calls as directed by the Service Team
+ Audit variances in rosters
+ Provide support to MCT to ensure all training records are captured and uploaded correctly to quality management system
+ Monitoring and ensuring the QMS is current and accurate at all times
+ Resolve all system/process relates issues and liaise with MCT
+ Assist MCT in Booking 3rd party training for crew as required
+ May perform other duties as assignedRequired Experience
+ Experience of roster writing utilising iSAR.
+ Experience of managing admin support via iSAR and Pelesys.
+ Ability to work as a team player in a rapidly evolving and dynamic environment.
+ Excellent customer service skills.
+ Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
+ Demonstrated interpersonal and organisational skills.
+ Excellent writing and verbal communication skills

+ Excellent computer skills with advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
+ General office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time.
+ The working environment is generally favourable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.
+ Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
