For more than 50 years ENSCO has been providing leading-edge engineering science and advanced technology solutions to governments and private industries worldwide. ENSCO Inc. is seeking an Engineer (Level 4) to provide mid-level security engineering support to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Air Traffic Organization (ATO) NAS Enterprise Services Group (AJW-17). This position will perform complex engineering tasks to develop integrate and maintain systems and networks that support FAA communications and safeguard the operational integrity of the National Airspace System (NAS).

The responsibilities include contributing to performance assessments preparing and reviewing engineering documentation and ensuring work aligns with FAA standards and cybersecurity policies. The role will also help implement configuration management processes support system testing and evaluation and provide technical input during technical interchange meetings. Additional duties include working with senior engineers to troubleshoot technical issues contributing to the development of transition and implementation plans for new or upgraded systems and collaborating with cross-functional teams to incorporate emerging technologies into NAS operations.

Qualifications required include a bachelors degree in an engineering field 6-10 years of experience foundational experience with requirements analysis system testing and performance assessments familiarity with federal mission-critical systems basic knowledge of configuration management practices ability to support network engineering and planning tasks familiarity with NIST standards and federal cybersecurity compliance frameworks proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications desired include experience working with the FAA ATO familiarity with system lifecycle processes basic knowledge of federal cybersecurity standards and an active Secret security clearance.

U.S. citizenship is required and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance is necessary. The position is contingent upon contract award and offers a competitive salary range of $72820.80 - $99338.80 USD.
