The Senior Financial Analyst will review analyze and summarize ERP data to increase our understanding of the costs of our operation and drive accountability to improve our performance. Additionally this position will assist with additional accounting functions in the department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Support the budgeting and forecasting processes. Serve as primary contact for financial reviews analysis and questions.
+ Review and analyze monthly financial reports and variance analysis of budget to actual results focusing on anomalies and trends.
+ Identify the key financial and non-financial risks recommending actions for mitigations of those risks.
+ Build financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives what-if scenario planning and break even.
+ Design develop and maintain financial models and analytical reports to help drive business decisions.
+ Develop and prepare certain key schedules comparing performance to defined key performance indicators.
+ Assist in the continued development of the company’s business intelligence capabilities.
+ Perform ad-hoc sensitivity and scenario financial analysis to support leadership decisions.
+ Expected to understand explain and interpret analysis and help the finance team make recommendations to senior management.
+ Conduct oneself in accordance with Company’s Core Values.
+ Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
+ Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting. MBA preferred.
+ Minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience working in a corporate finance/accounting environment; Preference given to experience with financial modeling forecasting budgeting and financial analysis.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel and Access – (e.g. pivot tables vlookup charts modeling etc.)
+ Experience with CPM software. Adaptive Insights preferred.
+ Demonstrated aptitude for mastering data extraction and manipulation tools preferred. Ability to quickly learn a specialized complex tool to successfully provide the best data analysis and reports needed.
+ Must have strong database skills. Ability to understand complex Finance Databases and conceptualize improvements.
+ Solid understanding of financial concepts/models.
+ Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
+ Experience working with an ERP system preferred.
+ Strong business acumen and ability to collaborate with multiple levels of management preferred.
+ Professional demeanor.
