We currently have an outstanding opportunity for an individual to assume a role as an Repair Technician with competitive pay and growth potential. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated self-starter who can work both independently and in a team environment.Responsibilities:Primary duties include but are not limited to the following: 1. Be able to independently test troubleshoot diagnose and repair electronics product2. Skilled to troubleshoot down to PC-Board and component level3. Independently repair customer returned equipment on time and with high quality4. Work well in a team environment with other technicians customer service reps and quality 5. Support required company performance metrics such as On Time Delivery (OTD) and Turn Around Time (TAT).Completion of Training is targeted to be 3 months. Rectification (if applicable) is required every two years unless otherwise specified in the course itselfQualifications:1. Associate degree or 2+ years of related work experience as technician in electronics field. 2. Able to read schematic and bill of materials understand electrical circuits3. Able to trouble shoot failed electronics down to component level4. Know how to use test equipment such as oscilloscope power analyzer multiple-meter etc5. Able to perform re-work tasks to remove and re-install SMT and through-hole components with solder ironWORKING CONDITIONS: Works standing and/or seated while performing duties. Handles medium to heavy weight material. ESD control training and compliance with ESD policies may be required. Safety glasses with side shields required. No drinking or eating in work areas. FAA drug test requirements apply. Must maintain good housekeeping practices.Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally required to stand walk sit use hands to finger reach with arms and hands climb stairs stoop kneel crouch talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 lbs.Work Environment:While performing the duties of this job the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time and an air-conditioned and heated office. The noise level is occasionally high.
