If so the Aviation Institute of Maintenance (AIM) wants you on our team as an Aircraft Mechanic Instructor!

What Youll Do

• Deliver dynamic hands-on instruction in aircraft maintenance that bridges theory and practice.
• Create an inclusive engaging classroom environment where students are empowered to succeed.
• Collaborate with fellow instructors and academic leaders to continuously improve our FAA-aligned curriculum.
• Keep the lab organized safe and stocked with properly maintained tools and equipment.
• Manage key administrative dutiesthink grading attendance tracking and regulatory compliancewith precision and professionalism.
• Mentor students track progress and proactively address retention issues.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and instructor evaluations.
• Support our mission by attending faculty meetings leading training sessions and completing education modules.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic Certificate
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance
• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong grasp of contemporary aircraft systems and repair practices
• Effective communication skills with a student-first mindset
• Organized tech-savvy and ready to adapt in a compliance-driven environment
• Flexibility to work outside scheduled hours as needed

Preferred:

• Associate degree in a related field
• Experience with CampusNexus or similar student management systems
