Use aircraft fault reporting manuals and include fault codes when documenting discrepancies in the aircraft forms. As daily events occur maintains Maintenance Information System (MIS) data integrity regarding maintenance and flying schedule requirements. Accomplishes aircraft debriefing to ensure malfunctions identified by aircrews are properly reporting and documenting. Disclosure of Political Appointments All federal employees are required to have direct depositQualificationsIn order to qualify you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions Administrative and Management Positions for the GS-0343 Management and Program Analysis Series.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-07 or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluative techniques to the to the identification consideration and resolution of issues or problems of a procedural or factual nature related to developing reviewing maintaining and coordinating a wide variety of plans affecting aircraft maintenance. Knowledge of the MIS standard and non-standard computer operating rules procedures and techniques to resolve difficult operating problems in the Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS) and the Reliability Maintenance Management Information System (REMIS). Knowledge of the principles rules and regulations that dictate the standards and frequency of aircraft maintenance and data collection principles. Knowledge of aerospace systems subsystems components and associated inspections repair modification and supply processes.OREDUCATION: Completed a masters degree or equivalent degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. if related in a field which demonstrates the knowledge skills and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position. NOTE: You must submit copies of your college transcripts.ORCOMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: Have less than the full amount of specialized experience described in the job opportunity announcement; however and have at least two years of progressively higher level graduate education but have not obtained a masters or equivalent graduate degree. Therefore have a combination of experience and education. Note: You must submit copies of your transcripts.FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-07 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-09 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e. Peace Corps AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g. professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social).
