JOB SUMMARY:
Assemble, troubleshoot and repair airframes, engines and systems. Perform modification work on aircraft as required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performing scheduled, unscheduled, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and replacement of parts on aircraft in accordance with the applicable maintenance manual or other approved technical data.
Documenting all maintenance performed in accordance with the requirements of regulating authorities and company guidelines.
Complete return to service entry into aircraft logbook.
Assisting in the administration of parts management, core returns, and warranty claims in a timely and orderly fashion.
Maintenance of shop, hangar tools, equipment, and facilities, as needed.
Participating in the Safety Management System.
Perform other duties as required by the Aircraft Maintenance Manager or Director of Maintenance.
Perform a variety of mechanical duties on Lear Jets including diagnosing malfunctions, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly and adjustment of various systems.
Perform duties in a manner consistent with the highest standards of safety.
Make appropriate entries in aircraft records.
Perform engine maintenance on airworthy aircraft and complete logbook entry.
Perform annual inspections and continued airworthiness inspections.
Leads safety or quality improvements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to work alone on a project or work with a team on larger workscopes.
A self-starter and takes the lead on important projects to completion.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Action oriented and takes on challenges.
Team oriented, self-driven and safety conscious.
Will be required to follow all safety guidelines for procedures and equipment.

Job Competencies:

Must have a high school diploma.
Must hold a FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certification/License.
Experience in Aircraft maintenance.
Must possess a basic set of tools and toolbox.
Experience operating equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts preferred but not required.
