1. PRIMARY FUNCTION State the primary function or overall purpose of the position. Provides coordination and leadership covering the development deployment and management of programs and action plans to drive GOLF PRIDE cost out programs through SCM cost out ( Direct Materials and Indirect Material ) and Operation cost out ( standardization cost optimization and process/machine upgrading ). Collaboration with engineering manufacturing and SCM organizations and in partnership with our strategic and preferred suppliers. Develops and supports cost improvement projects and programs and coordinates implementation on time and on budget. Drives consistency in supply chain processes in order to drive down cost of supply chain activities. Accountability for executing programs with the support of global engineering and site organizations Develop and deploy the Operational Excellence (OpEx) strategy for the GOLF PRIDE Business – APAC Region supporting the implementation of Corporate and Industrial Sector OpEx programs and goals. The OpEx function covers the areas of Quality Eaton Lean Six Sigma EHS&S and Eaton Business Excellence. Responsibilities include deploying Eaton and Industrial Sector OpEx objectives at the operational level and providing OpEx leadership to the GOLF PRIDE organization for the APAC region . Drive continuous improvement efforts through the deployment of the Eaton Lean Six Sigma Continuous Improvement Framework and other EBS processes / tools. Provide continuous improvement support to customers suppliers partners and the support functions of the organization to achieve the cost out target This position has responsibility for SCM /OpEx in the APAC region and coordinates the alignment of all related activities with the GOLF PRIDE plants support One Golf Pride development by transferring best practices between the sites and develop one manufacturing system for Golf Pride. and. other responsibilities include complying with customer industry and functional requirements in the form of certifications assessments audits etc. 2. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS List the essential functions (i.e. key responsibilities with expected end results) which must be accomplished in order to fulfill the purpose of the position as described above. Key Functions for SCM A Develop align and deploy effective GGDGOLF PRIDE SCM Cost Reduction programs with accountability to positively impact net material cost productivity B Achieve year over year cost out goals and performance improvement / complexity reduction throughout the supply chain consistent with net 1% initiative. C Drive project plans and implementation of key process improvements and moderate or complex projects with large improvements through kaizen activities and/or project management skills including organizational change management communications management change management critical path and risk management. D Develop and drive cost improvement projects covering among others: VA/VE supplier involvement in IDEAS program parts standardization and/or rationalization supply base reduction waste elimination outsourcing activities. E Responsible for the development of the Profit Plan cost out project pipeline and overall coordination and management of cost out tracking throughout the year. F Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and internal customers to ensure requirements are being met against given program / project. Cooperation toward successful achievement of project objectives and deliverables on time on budget and with high quality. G Drive accountability from respective Engineer Supplier Development Operations and Materials planner consistent with SCM strategies in compliance with SCM policies and procedures. H Facilitate and generate savings ideas into a cost out pipeline translate ideas into projects actions plans and ownership. Set milestones support and track the execution anticipate delays and roadblocks and efficiently address them. I Actively participate to the Regional Procurement Councils for GOLF PRIDE by providing inputs in the development improvement implementation and enforcement of Supply Chain initiatives if there is . Identify and report non-compliance and opportunities for improvement working with Operations to drive consensus and alignment. J Drive innovation; identify build business case submit and drive disciplined execution of efficient supply chain management solutions structures programs technologies and systems. K Continually improve the capability of the SCM organization through ongoing development activities and identification of talent to promote functional bench strength. Key Functions for OpEx A Lead the development and deployment of the OpEx strategy for GOLF PRIDE APAC ensuring alignment with operations and other related business B Ensure that GOLF PRIDE site (offices and operations) comply with applicable Eaton customer and industry-specific OpEx requirements by conducting the necessary audits and assessments and determine system effectiveness (Quality EHS&S ELSS and EBE). C Develop and implement an OpEx organizational structure capable of supporting strategic initiatives and integrate functional needs into the development of short and long range business plans. D Lead the deployment of the OpEx processes (EQS ELSS MESH EBE etc.) throughout the region in accordance to Corporate and Industrial Sector guidelines. E Analyze key OpEx-related operational metrics related to both the Balanced Scorecard and customer systems and perform periodical reviews to evaluate results and establish action plans to close the gaps at an operational level. F Coordinate the sharing of best / transferable practices across the GOLF PRIDE Plant sites for Six Sigma Lean Manufacturing EHS&S EBE and other OpEx-related activities and also out of GOLF PRIDE sites G Continually improve the capability of the OpEx organization through ongoing development activities and identification of talent to promote functional bench strength. H Represent GOLF PRIDE on any Corporate Regioinal or Industrial Sector issues as well as OpEx steering committees or councils as necessary Qualifications Basic
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical Industrial etc.) or Business from an accredited institution + Ten years of combined experience in manufacturing manufacturing engineering quality lean manufacturing SCM EHS or related areas with demonstrated ability to drive results in the areas of safety quality delivery inventory productivity continuous improvement etc. + Demonstrated proficiency in English language written and verbal + Demonstrated knowledge and experience on SCM Quality Systems Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma EHS and continuous improvement methods approaches and tools including strategic management and project management. Preferred Qualifications + Two years of experience in a role with multiple site responsibilities + MBA or Masters in Engineering from an accredited institution + Six Sigma Greenbelt with Six Sigma Balckbelt strongly preferred + Lean Manufacturing Quality Systems experience : + Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) and– + Certified Quality Manager (CQM) ISO-9001 Auditor Position Criteria : + Ability to work in a matrix environment get results and drive change through others. + Ability to manage by facts and data combined with solid analytical skills. + Effective oral and written communication skills as well as planning and organizational skills. + Ability to manage by influence through solid relationships and process focus. + Knowledge and experience on a Business Excellence process / criteria – similar to the Malcolm Baldridge Award + Knowledge and experience with the deployment of Eaton’s EBS tools and processes (EQS ELSS MESH EBWE) Eaton is a power management company with 2016 sales of $19.7 billion.
