Flightcheck provides workplace stability flexible schedules affordable comprehensive benefits as well as development and training opportunities for you to grow your career with us! </p><p>We are currently seeking exceptional individuals to join our Aircraft Maintenance Technician team at SDF in Louisville KY. </p><p>The Aircraft Maintenance Technician will perform aircraft line maintenance activities in accordance with company FAA other regulatory and customer standards. Responsible for accomplishing unscheduled/scheduled maintenance; to include troubleshooting engines landing gear hydraulic systems airframes electrical systems and oxygen systems. Remove and replace various system components as required. </p><p>What we offer: </p><ul> <li>Pay based on experience </li><li>Full comprehensive and affordable benefits plans (Medical Dental Vision) </li><li>401k with a company match </li><li>Paid time off- 80 hours(accrued) </li><li>Flexible schedules- Full and Part-Time opportunities available </li><li>Family oriented culture </li><li>In-house certification opportunities </li><li>Stable work environment with continuous development and training opportunities to help you grow your career with us! </li></ul> <p>Duties and Responsibilities: </p><ul> <li>Perform all aircraft maintenance activities in accordance with Flightchecks RSM QCM customers procedures FARs and all other applicable rules and regulations </li><li>Accomplish job functions to the highest safety quality reliable and efficient standards </li><li>Complete aircraft maintenance work assignments to the highest standards to ensure aircraft airworthiness </li><li>Able to read interpret and comply with all aircraft maintenance manuals and other maintenance documents to complete work assignments </li><li>Must be customer service-oriented </li><li>Ensure all company customer and regulatory documents are complete and accurate </li><li>Properly use and operate support equipment in performance of assigned duties i.e. servicing units jacks lifts calibrated tooling etc. </li><li>Occasional travel </li><li>Perform other duties as they are assigned </li></ul> <p>Requirements: </p><ul> <li>Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent </li><li>Must have Airframe and Powerplant License </li><li>Must have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience </li><li>Must have a valid A&P and State Drivers License </li><li>Must be able to read write and understand English and the ability to interpret technical data and special operating instructions </li><li>Must be able to lift and move up to 70 pounds </li><li>Must be able to pass background check and pre-employment drug screening </li><li>Must be able to climb ladders ranging from 6 to 10 feet tall </li></ul> <p>Preferred but not required: </p><ul> <li>CRJ200/700/900 </li><li>EMB-175/190 </li><li>B737NG </li><li>A319/320/321 </li><li>B757 </li></ul> <p>Workplace environment: </p><ul> <li>Schedule - Full-Time </li><li>Potential exposure to fumes or airborne particles toxic chemicals and moving mechanical parts. </li><li>Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and extreme heat. </li><li>The noise level in the work environment is typically loud. </li></ul> <p>FlightCheck is an equal opportunity employer and will consider all applications without regards to race sex age color religion national origin veteran status disability sexual orientation gender identity genetic information or any characteristic protected by law. </p>
