RESPONSIBILITIES Aviation maintenance performing various maintenance levels, fluid check, tire checks, hydraulic systems, landing gear, etc. A&P Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing aircraft to ensure they meet FAA safety regulations and operational standards. This role requires expertise in both airframe and powerplant systems, with a focus on troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
- Follow FAA Regulations and Documentations as needed
- Follow FAA and Facility Safety Protocols
- Examine function of aircraft fluids, pressures, hydraulics, controls, etc
- Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and maintenance documentation.
- Place or repair worn-out or defective components, such as engines, brakes, and fuel systems.
- Test aircraft systems for proper functioning using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections in compliance with FAA regulations.
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and adheres to safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other aviation professionals, including pilots and avionics technicians
