Under general supervision this position will support several deployed sites with maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) planning and scheduling using software and manual analysis. The position will ensure sites have adequate parts and equipment to meet all current and future requirements and will work with multiple departments within GA-ASI using internal processes to resolve shortages or other issues. Will work with suppliers and customers to evaluate new software and implement if selected. Will train others on the use of the software and P&S techniques. Will also support the International Programs Department with other tasks as required.
+ Will help to develop and maintain P&S/MRO software in conjunction with customer requirements for deployed sites
+ Interface regularly with deployed site personnel to address operational issues
+ Reviews daily status updates and analyzes data for trends
+ Analyze data to ensure maintenance schedules can be met
+ Analyze data to ensure adequate supplies spares are available to meet repair schedules
+ Analyze TO changes to ensure parts and equipment are on hand for new requirements
+ Perform analysis using statistical monitoring methods
+ Develop produce and report metrics to monitor aircraft and ground control system status
+ Plan and coordinate schedules establish priorities and monitor progress
+ Perform root cause analysis techniques to identify sources of declining trends identified in metrics reports
+ Must be able to have a functional knowledge of MRO and P&S database processes
+ Coordinate database development for new and existing department process tracking systems
+ Act as a liaison between departments and all other company departments
+ Coordinate upgrades and implementation of TO changes and monitor progress of implementation
+ Evaluate review and recommend new or upgraded MRO/P&S software
+ Resolve issues with existing software
+ Utilize MS Office MS Project SAP plus AMASIS or other P&S/MRO software experience is a plus
+ Train others on the use of P&S/MRO software
+ Prepare ad-hoc reports as needed for management
+ Process Sales Orders and Requisitions. Expedite movement of parts to support site operation
+ Perform other duties as assigned or required
+ Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in business planning or a related discipline and five or more years of progressive experience in planning coordinating and scheduling production operations.
+ May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education. Must have complete knowledge of production and engineering support principles and concepts and a general understanding of practices techniques and standards.
+ Must be customer focused and possess: (1) the ability to use independent analysis and judgment in developing solutions to a variety of complex problems of moderate scope and complexity; (2) excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills to accurately document and report findings to a variety of audiences; (3) excellent interpersonal skills to influence and guide employees managers and external parties; and (4) excellent computer skills.
+ Ability to work independently or in a team environment is essential as is the ability to work extended hours and travel as required.
+ Ability to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance.
Desired Qualifications and Attributes
+ Previous maintenance planning and scheduling experience preferably with a background in an aerospace or military environment
+ Strong verbal and electronic communication skills
+ Experience working on database systems and process improvement teams
+ Ability to analyze complex problems and identify solutions
+ Experience working with P&S MRO software
+ Self-Starter with strong analytical and statistical skills
+ Work independently and multi-task in a dynamic environment
