HNTBs industry-leading aviation planning team is seeking intern Aviation Planners for Summer 2026 in our Las Vegas NV office. The successful candidate has a strong interest in aviation strong critical thinking skills and a desire to grow in this exciting industry. Candidates will have access to excellent mentorship and professional development opportunities. Relocation and housing are not provided for these positions.

What Youll Do:

• Assists project team members with various support tasks.
• Conducts basic research and data collection.
• Maintains records collections and files related to specific projects.
• Assist in the development of graphics presentation materials and reports.
• Performs other duties assigned.

What Youll Need:

• Enrolled in a related undergraduate or graduate program

What Youll Bring:

• Preparing drawings reports presentations to support HNTBs wide-ranging aviation planning projects coast-to-coast.
• Develop airside landside and terminal planning exhibits using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Extensive use of Microsoft Excel to analyze complex data sets.
• Support project managers and deputy project managers to deliver extraordinary value for our clients.
• Attend meetings and document decisions.

What We Prefer:

• Currently pursuing Masters degree in Landscape Architecture Engineering Planning Urban Design Geography or related field.
• Experience or strong interest in the aviation industry.
• Extensive AutoCAD experience.

The approximate pay range for Nevada is $21.58 - $32.37. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors including but not limited to the individuals qualifications experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
