Description, duties, responsibilities

Hampton Aviation is seeking experienced Aircraft & Sheet Metal Mechanics to repair general aviation & military aircraft with a minimum of 3-5 years experience. A&P license is a plus.

• Service, repair, troubleshoot and modify aircraft and aircraft engines.
• Disassembles, repairs, and reassembles aircraft components in accordance with FAA standards.
• Technical knowledge of aircraft sheet metal repair.
• Skilled in the use of precision measuring instruments and hand and power tools.
• Works independently with blueprints, technical data manuals and modification work orders.
• Maintain record accuracy by using work order reporting system.
• Conducts work that involves physical exertion, prolonged standing, climbing, reaching, lifting, and bending.
• Must be efficient in the use and application of tools, gauges, instruments, etc. necessary for the accomplishment of duties assigned.
