Duties and Responsibilities: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform.Ensure process and procedures defined in the Quality Management System (QMS) are understood and followed as necessary to maintain Quality System ApprovalsLead / support internal and external audit activities (System NADCAP Customer etc) as required to meet requirements and maintain approvalsBe cognizant of Export Control requirements and controls taking necessary steps to ensure export compliance at all timesDrive robust RCCA process with real time daily stand up Quality reviews Elephant chart non-conformance tracking and SPC data collection / actionsDrive / support process improvements with on-time reporting of Quality KPIs - driving YOY improvements in quality performanceManage all aspects of the Quality Planning / NPI / FAI process in line with the Quality NPI tracker to ensure on-time and completeness of Quality NPI requirementsContract Review (Customer PO requirements drawings specifications)Ballooned drawings and associated documentsGaging reviews and special gaging requirements / purchaseGage R&R StudiesKpCs understood SPC Plan developedCreate IMS and FAI Templates in line with customer requirementsValidate / correlate CMM Program to IMSSecure special process approvalsCoordinate customer submittals and approvals (Ex: ESA SPS DVI PPAP) utilize customer web portalsAttend customer training / attain customer certification for self- release programs such as PWA DQR GE DSQR AS13001 DPRV.Lead regular SPC review sessions with engineering and develop /implement action plans to drive continuous and sustainable process improvements.Drive / support robust RCCA process to prevent re-occurrences and provide a positive effect on non-conforming inventory (MRB) as part of daily stand work.Active participant in the Company Continuous Improvement Program and Rapid Improvement Events (RIEs)Performs other related duties or responsibilities as requested or required whether or not specificallymentioned in this job description.Adhere to standards of safety and housekeeping as establishedMust be a US Person as defined by US Government and able to work without restriction with ITAR related data.Must be able to read write understand and speak English at a functional levelParticipate in training as required1-5% Domestic Travel requiredPhysical Demands:Must be able to lift push or pull at least 20 lbs.Requirements:Bachelor Degree with 3-5+ years of relevant Aerospace Aero-Engine or complimentary experienceComputer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel Power Point and Access.Working knowledge of inspection techniques quality engineering practices.Understanding of data collection and statistical process control (SPC) techniques.Good communication skills capability of communicating effectively with engineers shop personnel management staff suppliers and customers.AAP StatementHanwha Aerospace USA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
