A&P Technician Position Available - Corporate Jet and Turboprop Type Aircraft.

Required Qualifications

- Candidate must hold a Federal Aviation Administration Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License

- Candidate must comply with FAA FAR Part 65

- Candidate must own basic Aviation hand tools stored in Mechanic's toolbox

- Candidate must possess a valid US Passport and a valid United States Driver's License

- Candidate will be required to pass drug, alcohol and background check(s)

- Candidate must be willing to work overtime and odd hours

- Candidate may be required to travel (CONUS)

- Candidate must be able to read, write, speak and understand English

Physical Demands

- Climbing, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, extensive walking and working in awkward, tiring, and uncomfortable positions

- Special vision abilities required to perform this job are close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus

- May require lifting of objects whose weight may exceed 75 pounds

Work Environment

- The diversity of work conditions may range from an environment where there is little or no physical discomfort, to an environment of inclement weather

- Most work is performed in our environmentally-controlled hangar

- You may be required to work in areas where high noise hazards prevail

- May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles

- May be exposed to electrical shock hazards

Hawkeye Aviation, LLP is located at the Front Range Airport (KFTG) in the greater Denver area. Hawkeye Aviation specializes in maintenance and repair on corporate aircraft including Lear Jet, King Air, Hawker, Beechjet, Falcon, and Citation. Hawkeye Aviation is especially proficient at performing Phase and 12 Year inspections. Our spacious facility has over 14,000 square feet of heated hangar space, and we keep it noticeably immaculate. Our friendly staff believes in setting the standard for courteous service with an emphasis on taking care of our customers. Hawkeye Aviation specializes in Phase and 12 Year inspections . We also conduct landing gear inspections , airframe repair including windshield replacement , and aircraft modifications .
