## Product Design Engineer II

This position is part of the Global Repair and Overhaul Engineering (GROE) within the Aerospace Product Support Engineering (PSE) organization. The Product Design Engineer will report directly to the Avionics Director Engineering and will be responsible for supporting the Americas Electronics Service Center (AESC) at Norcross by developing modifying and enhancing the repair and overhaul requirements for various Electronics products as well as supporting ($700M revenue) aftermarket services business strategy and execution.
Provide technical support to the ISC Repair and Overhaul workshop and OEM for any changes in the technical publications
Support the global productivity goals for engineering savings through Repair Development and implementation of standardized processes (i.e. Workscoping)
Identify and implement aggressive cost reduction initiatives and identify external business opportunities relating to the Repair and Overhaul business
Examine all aspects of the Repair and Overhaul process for standardization opportunities
Develop repair schemes using new and existing repair technology for various electronics components
Establish a technical interface between Honeywell customer support representatives and internal and external customers
Chair technical meetings with internal business leaders airlines and other customers to provide technical support for warranty claims
Partner with our customers to identify and execute actions which solve problems for our customers and drives future growth opportunities
Operate as a team member in Continuous Improvement Six Sigma and Honeywell Operating System (HOS)

YOU MUST HAVE
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
+ Technical skills relating to electronic and electrical processes
+ Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and design drawings
+ Possess strong written and verbal communication skills as the position demands the ability to represent the site in technical discussions with customers and/or regulatory agencies
+ Familiar with the Norcross site products
+ Familiar with Airworthiness regulations within the region and customer base
+ Six Sigma Green Belt or Design for Six Sigma Black Belt or Lean Expert certified
Due to US export control laws must be a US citizen permanent resident or have protected status.Exempt Careers at Honeywell - Engineering
