We need a team to keep operations in tip-top shape from the check-in counter to the departure gate and behind the scenes ensuring bags arrive with you. Our Airport Operations team keeps operations at our airports running smoothly every day.Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of Ramp Operations and lead align and develop front line supervisors and front line employees.Utilize operational expertise and decision making capability financial technology logistics and management disciplines to support and create strategic objectives and direction.Execute station financial and operational plans and adjust as needed throughout the year to achieve corporate and local station goals.Excel in goal directed leadership analytical thinking financial controls budgeting customer service and policy/procedures.Maintain in-depth knowledge of department work rules and cultivate good relationships with Union leaders.Maximize safe operational performance and financial controls (e.g. overtime GSE abuse and safety performance metrics).Monitor Operational Performance Goals (Corporate and Local) across arrival on-time performance productivity baggage handling and other KPIs.Manage International Departure APU runtime efficiency and terminal operations performance metrics.Oversee Mishap Rates OSHA/Recordable rates and productivity metrics within the operation.Assist in managing a budget and plan operational activities accordingly.Coordinate with department heads business partners government agencies airport authorities and vendor leadership.Strategically plan and develop the department operations for long-term success.Qualifications Whats needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):High school diploma or equivalentValid Drivers License3+ years of operational leadership experienceChange Management experienceExcellent Communication SkillsAbility to lead and develop Leaders and frontline employeesAbility to lead and sustain continuous improvement initiativesAbility to engage employees at all levels and build a positive working environmentAble to attain specific clearances including FAA TSA Airport Authority US CustomsMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorshipSuccessful completion of interview required to meet job qualificationReliable punctual attendance is an essential function of the positionWhat will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):Bachelors degree or 3+ years of leadership experience3+ years Airport Hub Ramp Operations leadership experienceExtensive experience in managing station ramp cargo and mail deicing and receipt and dispatch operationsExcellent employee and union relations and experience administering union contractsExperience in relationship building and negotiation with contract vendors and government agenciesDemonstrated leadership ability in a large departmental environmentBusiness acumen and strong union relations backgroundCollaboration skills for implementing a CBAJob Posting End Date: 11/28/2025The base pay range for this role is $99750.00 to $129924.00. This position is eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
