SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Design aircraft avionics systems installation and wiring diagrams and instructions. Coordinates aircraft equipment integration changes and assists in system certification efforts. Supports the development and documentation of manuals. Liaison with MRO for implementation of avionics system. GENERAL DESCRIPTIVE TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES (But not limited to) Research and understand documentation for specific pieces of equipment to makeup the design. Inputs and outputs functionality that will be installed. Perform research requirements for installation. Develop instructions to install company units. Develop and prepare installation instructions. Ensure newly installed systems and those that have been repaired meet requirements mandated by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) specifications set by aircraft manufacturers. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Electronic Engineering background Understanding each component installation instructions and wiring. Worked in installing avionics Experience in Cad drawings. Must have engineering computer and technical knowledge. Adept at understanding how to solve problems and to implement ideas. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Educational Requirements: Electronic Engineering Degree Minimum Years Experience: 5 years Other Requirements: Understanding wiring harnesses
