An Account Manager is needed to support a manufacturer of commercial and military components for the aerospace industry. The primary responsibility will be to serve as main customer interface satisfy customer requirements and increase business to existing or new accounts. Customer base is large and complex with regional or global focus resulting in significant impact to the business unit.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Regular interface with customer regarding major requests and/or issues.
Ability to negotiate LTA and NPI development contracts terms and conditions.
Compose and execute strategic multi-year account plans
Identify maintain and document strategic relationships inside the account and outside the account
Identify and develop new business opportunities.
Responsible for meeting margin and growth targets with assigned accounts.
Ensures success of customer directed programs.
Facilitate engineering support for application of products capabilities and competencies.
Manage large proposal efforts including strategic programs.
Establish proposal pricing strategies and cost targets.
Negotiate contracts agreements terms and conditions.
Responsible for monthly and yearly sales forecasting tasks.
Facilitate major non-forecasted requests with production planning group.
Oversee product and service warranties to ensure customer/product resolution.
Responsible for accounts receivables.
Perform account reviews.
Gathers and communicates market intelligence.
Oversees customer directed development programs.
Oversees compliance to regulatory or customer specific requirement
Required Software: MS Office

Required Experience:
5-10 years experience in the pricing and negotiating of maintenance repair and overhaul contracts for military aircraft systems and components
5-10 years experience in a commercial role or extensive defense product knowledge and demonstrated ability to effectively participate in customer meetings on behalf of the company.
5-10 years experience in the defense/aerospace industry.
5-10 years experience in submitting and negotiating FAR part 12 and FAR part 15 compliant proposals to the US Government or to a US Government contractor.
Required Education:
Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent technical degree required.
Position: Direct Hire

Travel: 20% domestic and international required

Compensation: Exempt. Highly Competitive with Benefits

Location: Los Angeles CA 91355

Therefore candidates will need to qualify as a US Person which is defined as a US Citizen a Permanent Resident who does not work for a foreign company/foreign government/foreign governmental agency or organization or a political asylee in compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations.
