This customer‑facing role supports a team responsible for the sustainment of the program‑wide Engineering Data Repository System (EDARS) including standardized and optimized processes. The engineer will work with a globally distributed C‑17 engineering team USAF and FMS customers supporting engineering and program investigations including the C‑17 Delegation of Engineering Authority (DEA) program. This includes developing and implementing EDARS tools to support Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and preventive actions; supporting Reliability and Maintainability personnel cognizant engineers and DEA leadership in developing analyzing and submitting multiple Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL) deliverables; supporting the annual DEA Program Assessment; and working with USAF/FMS stakeholders. The role collaborates closely with systems engineering sustainment engineering and Process Based Management teams to ensure program visibility documentation integrity and performance metric timeliness while driving RCCA initiatives to reduce recurring issues and customer burden across maintenance concepts technical orders work instructions engineering drawings and design improvements.#J-18808-Ljbffr
