Our global network of testing laboratories provides diverse rapid testing and validation services to the transportation market which includes everything from traditional cars and light duty trucks commercial vehicles airplanes military ground transport vehicles trains marine vessels motorcycles lawn equipment and more. The opportunity has arisen for a Sales Engineering Business Coordinator to join this global organization which respects diverse perspectives experiences and traditions as essential and values each employee’s contribution toward achieving our business objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will analyze and distribute pricing requests from Sales Representatives to Sales Engineers and Operations to facilitate efficient proposal throughput for clients.
This position reports to the Sales Manager.
EXAMPLES OF WORK

+ Act as the liaison between Sales Representatives Sales Engineers and Operations
+ Provide sales support by assigning quote request to appropriate Sales Engineers or Operations staff
+ Organize and update Sales Engineering schedules and productivity reports
+ Identify opportunities for process improvement and provide solutions to problems
+ Communicate with clients regarding the company’s technical capabilities and requirements
+ Develop and utilize tools to efficiently build proposals
+ Work with technical staff to understand internal capabilities
+ Serve as an “overflow” option for quote and pricing requests when necessary
+ Perform other duties as required
+ Diploma or GED
+ Prefer prior sales or customer service experience in a technical environment
+ Microsoft Office proficiency including Word Excel and Outlook
+ Experience working with mobile platforms preferred
+ Must be able to drive deadlines shift priorities and possess strong attention to detail
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
+ Strong problem solving and decision making skills
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities
+ Ability to work effectively efficiently and ethically to meet demanding deadlines
+ Ability to travel as business needs dictate
+ Associates Degree in Engineering or related area and 2+ years of related sales experience
+ Experience with Information Technology building/supporting applications and data processes
+ Experience with technical quoting
