Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Participate in planning-level aviation assignments

  • Perform basic civil engineering design including computer modeling calculations and reporting

  • Assist in preparing specifications and perform plan set production for airfield projects - Coordinate and collaborate with other aviation design professionals and disciplines as part of a cohesive design team

  • Participate in bid-phase and construction-phase services such as answering requests for information preparing design clarifications reviewing shop drawings and submittals

  • Attend site visits to assist in performing engineering services to include construction quality acceptance testing and construction management activities

  • Attend and participate in design team and client meetings

  • Attend industry-level training and collaboration events

This position will be open for at least 3 days.

  • A passion for aviation

  • Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering

  • Strong analytical conceptual communication and organizational skills

  • Registered Engineer in Training (EIT)

  • Familiarity or experience with Computer-Aided Drafting and Engineering (CAD/CAE)

  • United States Citizenship
