Enabling global flight with passion.Position SummaryThe Lobby Attendant ensures the cleanliness functionality and welcoming atmosphere of the lobby area. A key focus is on maintaining and monitoring the food and snack station assisting customers with their needs restocking supplies and maintaining accurate restock logs. This role is integral in delivering an exceptional guest experience through attentive service and attention to detail.Please note this is a 3-month temporary role based in Teterboro NJ.Compensation DataThe posted salary ranges will default to that of your regional location and will not include any premiums. The baseline range for this non-exempt position will be as follows: $19 - $22 hourly.Operational HoursAviation operates on a dynamic schedule-things can change fast and our success depends on team members who can adapt. We are looking for team members who thrive in a dynamic around-the-clock operation and are open to working a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the operation customers and crews. We formally operate 24 hours daily 7 days weekly.Minimum Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in hospitality food service or customer service is preferred Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently Professional appearance and demeanor Must have a valid drivers licenseMain Responsibilities Food and Snack Station Management Monitor the food and snack station throughout the day to ensure it remains fully stocked clean and organized. Restock items promptly including beverages snacks condiments utensils and napkins. Ensure all food items meet quality standards and are within expiration dates. Maintain a daily restock log to track inventory usage and replenishment needs. Coordinate with the purchasing or kitchen team to request additional supplies as needed. Customer Assistance Greet and assist customers and guests in a friendly professional manner. Respond to inquiries about available amenities or services. Proactively offer assistance such as guiding guests to specific areas or addressing immediate needs. Restocking and Inventory Management Restock supplies throughout the lobby area including magazines brochures toiletries (if applicable) and other amenities. Keep storage areas organized and maintain an accurate record of inventory levels. Log restocking activities and inventory counts daily or as required. Cleanliness and Maintenance Ensure the lobby food and snack stations and storage areas remain clean and tidy. Wipe down surfaces remove trash and sanitize high-touch areas regularly. Report any maintenance or cleanliness issues to the appropriate team promptly. Safety and Compliance Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines while handling food and beverage items. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards for guests and staff. Operational Support Assist with event setup or special requests within the lobby area. Coordinate with other departments to meet guest needs effectively. Support security by monitoring lobby activity and reporting any unusual behavior or concerns.
