If so our B-2Engineering Services Team wants you to join us as aPrincipal ToolingEngineer and join our diverse team at several locations. The Engineering Services Team willbe working closely with our supply chain team to provide support for the B-2 Tailpipe Fleet Replacement effort. Our team is chartered with providing the skill necessary to produce and sustainthis product manufacturing line across multiplesectors while providing a decisive advantage to the warfighter. You will design industrial machinery and equipment tools dies gauges jigs fixtures and machine attachments required for production or experimental use considering such factors as accessibility economy mobility and performance requirements. Your duties will include: Responsible for the design and performance reviews for all tooling being manufactured in support of the Tailpipe Fleet Replacement proposal Responsible for coordination/disposition of tooling non-conformance tags Responsible for utilizing CAD software to develop 2D or 3D prints collaborating with manufacturing and design personnel on tool development teams and evaluating and validating products after design changes Provide support to Engineering IPT Leads and Program Management teams Engineering support for procurement activities to resolve supplier issues affecting tooling materials Support tooling activities to ensure tooling will support production schedules of end items Provide technical reviews of suppliers new planning for tooling manufacturing Other general engineering support/meetings for procurement and production activities NGLinkedDS Qualifications A Bachelors in Science Degreewith a minimum of 5 years of directly related work experience or Masters with 3 years of directly related work experience Ability to provide technical solutions to a wide range of complex difficult problems Ability to work under only general direction while independently determining and developing approaches to solutions Ability to obtain/maintain a DoD SSBI Clearance and Program Access Ability to obtain/maintain access to work at the required facility Preferred Qualifications : Knowledge of metallic/composite materials manufacturing processes and an additional broad range of aerospace commodities Experience in support of standardized laboratory material property testing Current/previous B-2 Security Clearance Demonstrate understanding and be able to apply the technical standards principles theories concepts and techniques related to Logistics disciplines to include Product Support and Technical Documentation use and development An understanding of government aircraft maintenance and supply processes/systems Familiarity with ISO 9001 AS 9100 AS9102 Industry/Aerospace Standards Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
