L3Harris-Aeromet is established within the DoD Community as the developer and operator of special mission ISR systems. We provide special mission system design modification and operations with emphasis on the development and integration of state-of-the-art EO/IR sensor systems. <b> Description</b> Will be a dedicated resource that will participate in all aspects of operating special missions sensor aircraft. Full time responsibility located at Aeromet main on-site Tulsa OK Facility; however will be required to travel to support operations worldwide with potential deployment times of 30 days or more. Typical deployments are 7-10 days. Travel varies with test but is typically 20-35% annually. Pilot will perform as a Captain/Co-captain operating three unique Gulfstream IIB aircraft in support of Missile Defense Agency testing. Work involves extensive over-water oceanic operations and work as part of a small team of pilots. Will be transitioning to the replacement Gulfstream 550 aircraft as they go online. <b> Special Requirements</b> Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) License with Multi-engine rating Type rated with experience in Gulfstream 550 jet aircraft with with a minimum of 1000 hours of jet PIC experience / First Class Medical / Able to obtain TS Security Clearance / Bachelors Degree / Proficient with MS-Office <b> The essential functions include but are not limited to the following duties: </b> <li> After an initial indoctrination and training period perform as a Co-Captain on unique GIIB special missions sensor aircraft operated by Aeromet.</li> <li> As replacement G550 aircraft become operational the captain will transition to the G550. Will be tasked with operating both types for some period until the legacy GIIB aircraft are retired. </li> <li> Safely conduct training and operate the aircraft in accordance with all applicable FAA regulations and DCMA 8210 requirements.</li> <li> Maintain professional standards of conduct at all times.</li> <li> Able to work any assigned shift or schedule including mission support outside normal duty hours and travel worldwide as required to support mission requirements. Subject to on call status/2 hr recall.</li> <b> Minimum Qualifications</b> <li> <b> US Security Clearance Required: Secret</b> </li> <li> Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) license with Multi-engine Rating </li> <li> Valid first class FAA medical certificate.</li> <li> Multi-engine jet type rating</li> <li> Bachelors Degree.</li> <li> Shall have a clean aviation accident and FAA violation record.</li> <li> Shall never had any designation or ratings suspended or revoked.</li> <li> Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid drivers license.</li> <li> Must be able to obtain a Department of Defense <b> TOP</b> <b> SECRET</b> security clearance.</li> <li> Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen.</li> <li> Proficient using MS-Office (WORD EXCEL POWERPOINT and Outlook)</li> <li> US Citizenship required. </li> <li> Minimum of 1000 hours Jet PIC experience</li> <b> Desired Qualifications</b> <li> Gulfstream G1159 and/or G550 type rating</li> <li> Experience with Gulfstream aircraft</li> <li> Technical Degree.</li>
