This dynamic position will serve as a strong foundation for continued development as a systems engineer. o Support of field centers and facilities and supporting the operational readiness and safety systems. o Learn the craft of problem investigations: root cause analysis and corrective action implementation support surveillance and monitoring of deployed systems watching for changes or degradation to the system streamline operations. o Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept design fabrication test installation operation maintenance and disposal. o Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical schedule and cost constraints. o Performs functional analysis timeline analysis detail trade studies requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. Here are some of the benefits you can enjoy: o Medical o Dental o 401k o Paid time off o Work/life balance o Career development o Mentorship opportunities o Rewards and recognition Basic Qualifications: o Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Aeronautical Engineering Aerospace Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited college/university. o Experience with one or more Systems Engineering functions including: a) System trade studies CONOPS and/or System modeling b) Requirements Interface Control Document (ICD) or Interface Definition Document (IDD) development c) System Integration Fault Management Test and/or Verification d) Test planning and execution with an understanding of all the interdependencies o Active TS/SCI with the ability to maintain clearance Desired Skills: o Coursework in college level physics. o Knowledge and or training in the integration of requirements design and technology during the design and development of complex systems. o Knowledge of product development and associated development life cycle. o Missile/aerospace related education/background. o C++ or MATLAB experience o Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday offSalary Range: $80K -- $100K Minimum QualificationSystems Architecture and Engineering.
