Based in Stratford, Connecticut, USA, Sikorsky has outlying facilities in other Connecticut locations as well as in Florida and Alabama.It is the responsibility of the Maintenance Technician to perform functions assigned in the service, repair and overhaul of aircraft, aircraft components, parts and accessories. The primary objective is to service the aircraft safely, reliably and expeditiously.Assist in performing routine aircraft completion tasks under direct supervision.Assist in advanced tasks as part of training and development.
Must have flight line experience and a minimum of 3-5 years prior maintenance experience, preferably in a commercial aviation environment.Part 135/145 experience preferred.Sikorsky S76 experience preferred.
Environmental Health and Safety:Comply with and support Sikorsky and AAG EH&S policies and exhibit leadership to ensure safety and compliance by others under direct supervision.
Wear safety glasses and proper clothing appropriate for the situation and in compliance with established polices.
Report environmental and safety concerns and non-compliance to management.
