The successful candidate will provide functional organization support relative to one-time proof of design (component-level qualification) for major aircraft programs. Interface with suppliers and the customer. Support design activities including specification reviews (contractual flow-down); avionics, electrical and flight controls design reviews (specification flow-down), and first-flight activities (safety of flight verification). Review Supplier Test Procedures and Reports. As necessary, support supplier testing and/or conduct in-house component qualification analysis/testing. Provide component-level Qualification Test Procedures and Reports to the Customer.
A minimum of 4+ years’ experience in the military and/or civil aviation industry specifically in the field of component-level Environmental and Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) Test and Verification.
Working knowledge of equipment qualification Environmental and EMI military specifications/standards
