Key Responsibilities
+ Developing innovative approaches to review procurement process effectiveness analysing the industry trends and product availability to pay the best price for company goods and services without sacrificing quality or delivery times
+ Analysing and reviewing documents for the procurement of all supplies equipment and services for the region and ensuring compliance with the procurement policy and procedures manual as well as applicable federal and state laws.
+ Conducting a routine cost-benefit analysis and contributing to continual process improvement (working with cost price analysis)
+ Assisting in establishing bid standards and preparing procurement documents to publicly solicit bids and contracts for the purchase and /or lease of materials and services
+ Supporting the day-to-day operations of the procurement process
+ Assuring suppliers deliver materials and services in accordance with standards of price time quantity and quality agreed upon
+ Assuring all invoices are audited for compliance with contract terms and supervises contract closeout
+ Responsible for ensuring records are maintained and procurements are documented from origination through completion
+ Liaising with key company employees / stations to determine their product and service needs
Qualifications
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
+ must hold Highschool Diploma (Bachelors Degree favorable)
+ Three (3) or more years of experience in Sourcing Vetting Vendors negotiating contracts and presenting deals.
+ Ability to proficiently read write and speak English
+ Experience in the aviation industry and aviation awareness is a plus
+ Self-motivated and disciplined
+ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with people at different levels and from different cultural/ethnic backgrounds
+ Prior Customer Service Experience Strongly Preferred
+ Proficient in MS Office Word Excel and PowerPoint
+ Must pass pre-employment drug screen
+ Must pass background check

+ Ability to learn quickly
+ Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed
+ Strong interpersonal skills
