Job Functions
+ Administer employee benefit programs such as medical dental vision life insurance/AD&D disability insurance health savings accounts COBRA 401(k) and wellness programs.
+ Informs and guides employees on benefits matters regarding eligibility and coverage provisions.
+ Serve as a front-line responder for employee benefit related questions or issues and effectively handle issue resolution.
+ Act as a liaison between employees and carriers to rectify issues respond to inquiries and help ensure s a positive and seamless experience.
+ Ensure vendor file feed integrations run smoothly and accurately. Research any errors.
+ Assists with annual benefit open enrollment and wellness initiatives
+ Process life events to include data entry and providing assistance to employees
+ Provides administrative support to Benefits Manager and staff as directed
+ Process Child Medical Support Orders
+ Audit and ensure accuracy of benefit groups/enrollments/changes from HRIS (UltiPro) and vendor systems and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
+ Ensure vendor file feed integrations run smoothly and accurately. Research any errors
+ Assist with compliance of State and Federal regulations
Education Skills and Experience:
+ High Diploma Required
+ Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred or 5 years of benefits experience
+ Minimum five (5) years’ experience in Benefits Administration
+ Intermediate Microsoft Office software (Word PowerPoint Access l and Outlook) skills required.
+ Intermediate Excel skills required.
+ Experience with UltiPro HRIS system preferred.
+ Strong organizational skills detail oriented ability to communicate effectively and professionally able to work independently as well as part of a team.
+ Strong working knowledge of HIPAA COBRA FMLA ADA and PPACA ERISA DOL and IRS regulations.
+ Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and handling of sensitive information.
+ Strong analytical problem-solving and process improvement skills.
+ Strong customer-service skills paired with strong interpersonal and oral/written communication skills.
+ Ability to manage coordinate and prioritize multiple projects with minimal supervision.
+ Must be honest truthful and trustworthy and possess a high degree of personal integrity.
+ Self-starter who quickly learns new business processes new systems and tools.
+ Self-motivated and ability to work well within a fast-paced high volume HR team environment.
+ Understanding of need and ability to act with urgency and provide accurate information to customers.
+ Must pass conditional post offer background investigation drug screen and motor vehicle check.
