Key Responsibilities
+ Maintain an uncompromising dedication to providing high quality service to all of our customers at a fair and reasonable price. This is achieved by accomplishing all duties in accordance with established airline regulations
+ Performs fuel scheduling duties in coordination with airlines suppliers and pipeline operators. Verifies pipeline batches and updates fuel inventory projections daily for every inventory holder to ensure adequate fuel supply which affects their fuel purchases and fuel prices. Critical thinking skills and careful discretion are crucial aspects of these duties
+ Performs analysis of accounting and supply data and creates reports to identify trends perform projections and provide advice to the LAXFUEL Chairperson and Executive Committee the General Manager and the Accounting Manager
+ Responsible for supervising the daily payroll human resources and operational records that are required to be produced by the business unit. Can be called to assist with analysis of inventory gains/losses in the system or helping to ensure that data is entered correctly and appropriately documented and reconciled to source documents
+ Coordinate items such as third-party requests for assistance including requests by airline customers to research past transactions external audit site visits from airlines or regulatory agencies customer information requests etc.
+ Must be available remotely after normal business hours to assist in any fuel supply emergencies as all the jet fuel terminals operate 24 hours per day
+ The position will also require the ability to process large volumes of data perform trend analyses and provide interpretations of the data in an advisory capacity for the Chairperson and the Executive Committee of LAXFUEL. Emphasis will be placed on assistance with oversight in multiple areas of the business and not primary accountability within all of these areas for this particular role
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree required (Master of Business Administration Master of Accounting or CPA a plus) with computer and MS Excel knowledge
+ Prior experience in Accounting/Inventory reconciliation a plus
+ Prior management supervisory or lead experience in the Aviation industry preferred
+ Must be 18 years of age or older
+ Possess and maintain a valid US drivers license with a clean driving record
+ Must pass pre-employment drug screen and all pre-employment testing
+ Ability to proficiently read write and speak English
+ Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions
+ Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
+ Pass FBI background and obtain US Customs Seal
+ To report any significant deficiency in our products materials and documents
+ Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs
+ Has the duty to suggest any improvements to working practices especially those relating to safety and security
