This position reports to the Senior Vice President Sales and Commercial Operations. This position is responsible for maintaining current sales contracts and growing the business by winning new agreements whilst creating sustainable internal and external customer relationships. This position negotiates critical or difficult sales contracts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Essential duties include but are not limited to the initiation of sales contacts with potential airline charter and government customers in the search for new business consistent with Menzies Aviation safety service and financial objectives. Possesses a financial experience to negotiate terms and conditions of agreements between Menzies Aviation and subject airline. Communicate and Coordinate all activities with the all necessary Corporate disciplines (Finance Legal HR etc.) and General Managers. Monitor contract status resolve issues to include dispute resolutions and amend contracts as required. Develop execute and achieve sales and profit targets as well as provides accurate sales forecasting. Recommend strategies for Menzies Aviation as it relates to the airlines and associated business to ensure the Company’s initiatives are meet. Assist with credit and collection actions when necessary. Responsible for assuming the leadership position in the preparation of bid proposals presentations and submittals (contract renewals RFPs etc). Represents Menzies Aviation at industry meetings functions; presents papers or delivers speeches pertinent to airline or associated activities. Always performs at the highest levels ethically and professionally; embeds the Company Values into all work. Meets the Company’s attendance standards for this position. Is able to travel at a very frequent basis for trips that are both planned as well as unexpected.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
BS or BA in Manufacturing Operations Business Materials Planning or similar degree or five to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read analyze and interpret the most complex documents in English and Spanish. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management and or public groups in both English and Spanish
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts interest commissions proportions percentages area circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY Ability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
