Summary: The Automotive/Diesel Mechanic Helper is responsible for the cleaning painting repairs and preservation of the Automotive/Diesel shop equipment and other related equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Full accountability to the Maintenance Manager for assigned tasking.
Cleaning of the Automotive/Diesel equipment or Ground Support Equipment (GSE) in preparation of maintenance repairs and preservation painting.
Receives work orders and obtains the necessary tools required for the repair.
Under instruction proper painting and making of Automotive/Diesel equipment or Ground Support Equipment (GSE)
General cleaning of shop and ramp areas.
Collecting and returning equipment to and from perspective areas on AOA.
Ensure the safe and secure operations in accordance with the highest possible standards of health safety security and all government statutory requirements.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
Minimum three (3) years related experience.
Ability to properly clean and paint equipment.
Must be least 18 year of age.
Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
Work is done primary outdoors must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
Capable of lifting comfortably 70 pounds.
Must be flexible to work all hours/days including nights weekends and holidays as dictated by operational requirements.
