Position is located at Dulles International Airport
Must be available to work any shift assigned to include weekends and holidays.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
+ Diagnose problems using test equipment statistics equipment history manufacturer specs industry related standards and blueprints.
+ Troubleshoot repair and maintain related components such as pumps valves vessels hydrant pits gauges switches motors lights heaters meters hoses etc.
+ Follow company and departmental safety policies and procedures.
+ Maintain records relating to maintenance.
+ Support Gauger position as necessary.
+ Comply with the station’s attendance policy.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Must successfully complete Companys PST program. Must pass hearing test color blindness test and drug test to be considered for employment. Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends is required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral diagram or schedule form.
CERTIFICATES LICENSES REGISTRATIONS
Valid Drivers License. Possess/maintain a valid driver’s license and other FAA Airport required identification/seals or authorizations.
