<h5>Knowledge Manager </h5><p>Oliver Wyman a Marsh business is a management consulting firm driven by deep industry insight bold innovation and a collaborative approach that cuts through complexity to help organizations navigate their most defining transformative moments. </p><p>Oliver Wyman isseeking a Knowledge Manager to support A&D for the Americas region with a strong focus on the US market and related Private Capital work. A&D is a specialized sector within the Oliver Wyman consulting business covering commercial aerospace defense space and government services with broad expertise across corporate growth commercial strategy transformation operational effectiveness and Private Capital-related work. </p><p>This is a business-facing Knowledge Management role for someone who can build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders understand sector priorities and turn project experience and intellectual capital into practical reusable knowledge assets. The role requires strong ownership proactivity and the ability to drive initiatives from idea through execution and adoption. </p><p>The successful candidate will work closely with A&D leadership Partners Consultants Knowledge Services colleagues and related support functions. They will help shape and deliver the A&D knowledge agenda strengthen knowledge capture and reuse and advance practical AI-enabled ways of working across KM workflows. </p><p>The ideal candidate has a background in knowledge management consulting or research strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to operate with structure pace and independence. Experience or strong interest in A&D and/or Private Capital is preferred. </p><h5>Key Responsibilities </h5><ul> <li>Build trusted relationships with A&D Americas and relevant Private Capital stakeholders </li><li>Translate business priorities into clear KM priorities initiatives and routines </li><li>Create a regular cadence with the team to identify needs track progress and ensure follow-through </li><li>Build internal networks to connect the team with the right experts content and support </li><li>Capture and codify high-value knowledge from projects proposals and sector work </li><li>Develop and maintain reusable assets with the A&D team </li><li>Keep knowledge repositories structured current and easy to use </li><li>Embed core KM routines including project closeout content refresh and knowledge tool usage </li><li>Promote reuse of knowledge assets across A&D Americas and relevant Private Capital work </li><li>Train consultants in proper use of knowledge tools and KM processes </li><li>Drive A&D knowledge development initiatives from planning through execution </li><li>Identify knowledge gaps and work with the business to close them </li><li>Support business development and project delivery with targeted knowledge input </li><li>Promote practical use of approved AI tools in KM workflows </li><li>Identify AI-enabled opportunities for knowledge capture retrieval synthesis and reuse </li><li>Help test and scale AI use cases that improve access to knowledge and team efficiency </li><li>Encourage AI-fluent ways of working across the A&D knowledge agenda </li></ul> <h5>Experience Required </h5><ul> <li>Bachelors degree required </li><li>3+ years experience in knowledge management consulting research or business development </li><li>Experience or strong interest in A&D and Private Capital preferred </li><li>Experience working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams </li><li>Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills </li><li>Experience using SharePoint Teams knowledge platforms and AI tools preferred </li></ul> <h5>Skills and Attributes </h5><ul> <li>Strong ownership mindset and ability to deliver end-to-end </li><li>Proactive self-driven and comfortable chasing input and decisions </li><li>Growth mindset curiosity and willingness to learn </li><li>AI-fluent and open to new ways of working </li><li>Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills </li><li>Able to build internal networks and navigate the organization effectively </li><li>Commercially minded and focused on practical business value </li><li>Structured reliable and detail-oriented </li><li>Ability to operate under pressure and tight deadlines handling several tasks at one time </li><li>Ability to manage sensitive intelligence that is subject to US export control regulations </li></ul> <h5>What Success Looks Like </h5><ul> <li>A&D Americas has a clear active and business-aligned knowledge agenda </li><li>Priority knowledge assets are captured maintained and reused </li><li>Stakeholders see KM as practical responsive and business-relevant </li><li>Knowledge initiatives move from plan to execution and adoption </li><li>AI-enabled KM use cases are identified tested and embedded where useful </li></ul> <h5>Why Join Us? </h5><ul> <li>Join a global high-impact consulting firm with deep industry expertise bold innovation and a collaborative culture </li><li>Work closely with senior A&D Americas and Private Capital stakeholders on business-critical knowledge priorities </li><li>Help shape the knowledge agenda for a high-priority sector team in the Americas </li><li>Be part of a supportive entrepreneurial team culture with opportunities to own initiatives end-to-end </li></ul> <p>This is a hybrid role that requires a presence in the office 3 days per week. There is no option to be fully remote. </p><p>The applicable base salary range for this role is $95000 to $126000. </p><p>The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience skills training location certifications education and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
