Job DescriptionJob Description SummaryEngineering Planner responsible for performing activities related to engineering material planning work order management material risk mitigation and logistics execution for Andover and Hudson facilities and/or Program specific production tracking. Also included in the role as a separate responsibility will be assisting in managing program customer milestones related to material availability projections. Job DescriptionActive participant in new product introduction strategy to ensure engineering and technical operations material is defined and demand created/scheduled in MRP in a timely fashionManage supply to ensure demand requirements are metProactively mitigates issues with production constraints.Collaborates with Purchasing Production Logistics Quality Program Management and review execution of schedules build plans backorder status and other potential schedule interruptions or rescheduling.Aligns priorities with production planningReport status for program specific milestones Develop and maintain tools to manage key metrics review variances and understand drivers and impact of changes. Utilize tools to assess risk.Lead project teams on continuous improvement projects. Monitor progress and collaborate with other departmentsPick and issue material from stock and deliver to point of useAssist in managing program customer milestones related to material availability projectionsOther duties as assigned.Basic qualifications:ERP experience in an NPI (New Product Introduction) environment with engineering materialTeam Player: Collaborates with key stakeholders gains commitment to meet timelines and influences others without direct authority.Driver and Goal Oriented: With limited guidance identifies tasks needed to support desired outcomes and challenges potential delays to drive necessary actions for results.Clear Communicator: Strong written verbal and listening skills. Effectively communicates with external suppliers and internal stakeholders. Quickly and openly communicates challenges and proposes solutions. Prepares dashboards presentations or other information for anized: Demonstrated ability to stay organized with multiple responsibilities and deadlines. Good decision making and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented. Time management and workload prioritization capabilities are key.Flexible: Comfortable working in ambiguous situations with limited guidance from Manager. Possesses a positive questioning attitude able and willing to dive into the why.Education and experience:Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in related field4+ years of relevant experience.ASCM (APICS) certification preferred.Experience in advanced Excel functionsExperience in Access a plusExperience in production and capacity planningExperience in ERP. Oracle experience a plus.Experience in Advance planning tools.
