The Aviation Site Manager is responsible for the operational and administrative oversight of their assigned operations program. mission and contribute to our overall safety culture.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSOversee all operational aspects of assigned aircraft and bases of operationsComply with all directives and guidance of the Metro Aviation General Operations Manual Operations Specifications Policy and Procedures Company Bulletins Federal Aviation Regulations and any other guidance/directives/regulations as applicableEnsure the Regional Aviation Manager and/or Director of Operations are notified of any interactions with the FAA ATC or abnormal interactions with the customerExercise operational control as it relates to scheduling or assigning a current qualified crew as defined in the Metro Aviation General Operations ManualServe as liaison between the Company and the customer Coordination with: assigned Lead Pilot(s) to ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures regulatory requirements and Safety Management System processesRegional Aviation Manager and Base Lead Technician to provide a properly maintained and airworthy aircraftAssistant Chief Pilots and Regional Aviation Manager as applicable to ensure compliance with the Metro Aviation Approved Training ProgramMetro Aviation and the customer to ensure completion of medical crew and communication center personnel initial and recurrent training requirementsDirector of Safety and is responsible for the completion of safety audits monthly safety meetings PAIP drills and overall safety of assigned basesResponsible for timely and accurate submission of all required company reportsEnsure all base aircraft and other company documents are current in accordance with the Master Publications SheetParticipate in base safety meetings customer meetings or other customer coordinated eventsAssist the Regional Aviation Manager in pilot recruiting activitiesMaintain qualifications and perform the duties and responsibilities of Pilot-In-Command as requiredASSIGNED PERSONNELLead PilotsLine PilotsREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS and ABILITIESCurrent and qualified for duty assignments as Metro Aviation Line Pilot (may be waived in accordance with specific location or customer requirements)Effective oral and written communication skillsPossess sound judgment and objectivity in decision-makingAbility to create an environment that demonstrates teamwork and professionalism with diverse personalities and professional backgrounds
