Overview
A&P Aircraft Mechanic /Technician job at Midwest Aviation - Charter First. Sioux Falls SD.
Responsibilities
- Perform aircraft maintenance inspections and repairs on aircraft to designated qualifications
- Approve aircraft for return to service after scheduled or unscheduled maintenance
- Respond to discrepancy reports
- Assist in determining the necessary parts for service
- Responsible for proper work order and logbook documentation
- Participate in the company safety program and adheres to workplace safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace within hangars office and parts storage
Qualifications
- Available to work on-site at our maintenance hangar facility located in Sioux Falls SD
- FAA license is required
- Previous experience as an A&P mechanic preferred
- Inspectors Authorization Certificate preferred or willing to obtain through company sponsorship
- Must be able to obtain airport security badge clearance
- Must be able to read write and speak English fluently
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Computer skills and general software knowledge is preferred
- Ability to adhere to our government-regulated drug and alcohol program
- Possess a valid drivers license with a clean driving record of 5 years
- Criminal background studies must not disqualify a candidate
Position Specifics
- On-site job location at Sioux Falls SD airport
- Full-time status with typical hours of Monday- Friday 8 AM 5 PM
- A competitive compensation package is negotiated based on licensing and experienceovertime compensation over 40 hours/week. Future performance/compensation evaluations are available.
