Youll collaborate with a fun and close-knit agile team.In your role you will:In conjunction with Supervisor oversee and/or perform daily activities for an assigned functional area of MHIRJ Aviation.FUNCTIONAL AREAMaintenance/Operation - Grades 08 09 and 10Oversee aircraft maintenance and /or major nacelle component maintenance and repair activities and assigned employees involved in troubleshooting repairing functional testing inspecting and performing maintenance on customer aircraft or customer nacelle components. Duties may include sheet metal and composite structural repairs or repair of components hydraulics pneumatics mechanical avionics electrical and electronic systems. Utilizes component maintenance manuals and Engineering dispositions.KEY SKILLS and COMPETENCIESGeneral SkillsEmotional Intelligence Customer Orientation Interpersonal CommunicationTime and Priorities Management Teamwork Project ManagementCoaching Change Management Delegation SkillsUse applicable requirements noted on functional position job description.LEVEL I- Grade 07 - Performed in conjunction with Shift Supervisor within framework of authorityMINIMUM REQUIREMENTSTypically five (5) years aviation or stockroom experience to include one of the following areas: warehouse shipping/receiving tool crib parts inventory requisition development and stockingThorough knowledge in functional area as evidenced through previous skills and experienceAbility to train employees in functional areaAbility to planning and organize tasks and workflowAbility to effectively communicate in both written and verbal formAbility to work shift with limited directionBasic PC skillsADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSTypically two (2) years MHIRJ experienceESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSAdhere to MHIRJ General Work Requirements (Factory Shop and Hanger positions)Coordinate workload OT and make job assignmentsConduct Team Meetings in conjunction with SupervisorProvide technical guidance/expertise in functional areaTrain employeesMentor and provide performance feedbackProvide input on disciplinary actions PMP and selection processComply with environmental health and safety policies/procedures.
