A Multinational Aerospace company is looking for a Linux Engineer in Dallas Texas. The company is well known in the aerospace society and specializes in manufacturing and deploying aircrafts jet propulsions and landing gears in both the military and commercial aspects.

The company is currently in the process of expanding their IT presence in the Dallas Metroplex area. They are looking for individuals who are particularly skilled in Squid Proxy and RADIUS Servers.

Contract Duration : 6 Months - On Site

Required Skills and Experience

• 5+ or more years experience using Linux

• Intensive knowledge of Squid Proxy and RADIUS Servers

• Basic understanding of authentication and network protocols

• Experience with LDAP and Active Directory

• Fluent in shell scripting (Bash Python Perl)

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

What You Will Be Doing

Tech Breakdown

• Squid Proxy

Daily Responsibilities

• Build and manage Squid Proxy servers on Linux Platforms

• Run RADIUS servers (FreeRADIUS)

• Combine Squid and RADIUS servers with AD Active Directory or other identity management systems

• Troubleshoot both Squid and RADIUS servers to optimize performance

• Maintain systems security systems

• Fixing or patching up Security Vulnerabilities in Linux Servers

• Develop scripts to smoothly run administration and reporting

• Examine both Squid and RADIUS servers logs and metrics to report and fix issues
