Description, duties, responsibilities
Electronic Soldering / Test and Repair Assembler to perform a range of routine electro-mechanical and/or Electronic PCB assembly under well-defined instructions and in accordance with FAA policy and safety procedures. Requires demonstrated experience using heat guns soldering irons crimp tools extraction tools and wire strippers. IPC-J-STD and IPC-A-610D certified or working experience under MIL-STD necessary for consideration
Responsibilities:
Use electric soldering equipment to the IPC-A-610B Class 3 standard.
Cut prepare very small parts and pre-tin wires apply conformal coat marking and adhesive bonding.
Maintenance repairs parts replacement and modifications for analog/digital aircraft PCB components
Use soldering tools and testing instruments analyzers manual and power tools.
Use head and neck in static position looking up/down and side-to-side.
QUALIFICATIONS: Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and electronics work experience required.
Certifications: Vocational training apprenticeships or the equivalent experience in related field
IPC-J-STD and IPC-A-610D certified MIL-STD 2000 2000A BSD SAE-AS 50881 OR IPC-7711/7721 soldering
Experience Surface Preparation and Coatings
Experience Aerospace Electro Mechanical Assembly with demonstrated experience using heat guns soldering irons crimp tools extraction tools and wire strippers.
